Aarush Fire System Celebrates Safety Day on March 4, 2020
Rahul Jadhav, Director – Aarush Fire Systems Pvt. Ltd.
Aarush Fire System recently observed the Industrial Safety day and week starting from March 4, 2020. This is on the line of The National Safety Day/Safety Week Campaign being spearheaded by the National Safety Council. The safety day/week is being observed by the council, various industrial bodies and organisations over since three decades, to mark its foundation Day – 4th March.
According to National Safety Council the Work culture and lifestyle must have safety and other health concerns incorporated. There is heightened need for improving commitment of the employees and make sure that they are safe in the workplace. The growing fatal industrial accidents and casualties in recent years have proved that safety and first aid measures are not followed to the extent it should be and hence establishing certain standards for the health of employees is of prime importance. Occupational Safety & Health (OSH) activities are to be given utmost significance.
Mission and overarching objective of Aarush Fire System is to significantly contribute to reduction in the rate of industrial accidents and to create wide spread fire and safety awareness. This is even in such sectors which have not been covered by any safety legislation. This mission undertaken is essentially the part of an overall goal of creating and strengthening Safety, Health and Environment (SHE) movement and culture at workplaces and integrating the same with the work culture.
On the eve of the safety day, the Founder Director of Aarush Fire System, Mr. Arjun Jadhav appealed organisations and industrial bodies to develop specific activities as per their safety requirements. CEO of the company Mr. Rahul Jadhav stressed on promoting the development of need-based activities, self-compliance with statutory requirements and professional SHE management systems at work places.
Both the promoters of Aarush Fire System further argued that there is acute need to bring into the fold of voluntary SHE movement sectors, which have not so far been statutorily covered.
Although there is enough awareness about road safety and vehicle driving norms; the awareness and education about industrial and fire safety still remains areas of concern in India. Due to rapid industrialization in India and its ongoing journey towards Industry 4.0, the national safety day will help to decrease the number of fatal accidents at workplaces as well as those which occur outside the realm of it. It is the need of the hour to incorporate Industrial and Fire Safety norms, procedures and practices in the education system of this country to inculcate the culture of safety. Empowering the new generation about Safety measures this National Safety Day will help in shaping a bright future for our country, opined Mr. Rahul Jadhav.
